Do you want to trust your businesses bookkeeping to Amateurs?

To be honest, while forming my company, I was surprised to hear things being said to new people interested in this career field.

  • 1. No degree Required.
  • 2. Take a 40-hour bookkeeping course
  • 3. Learn some accounting software. ‘QuickBooks’
  • 4. Bookkeeping is referred to as a ‘side hustle‘.
  • 5. Due to no degree, not allowed to give financial advice.

Bookkeeping is referred to as ‘A Side Hustle’, something that stay-at-home moms’ can do with little or no education required.  A ‘Side Hustle’ really sounds Amateur in my opinion.  I believe you get what you pay for.

As a client with your own company/business, you have put much time and effort into making it a successful venture.  It takes a lot of hard work; it becomes your lifeblood.  Do you want to trust your bookkeeping to a ‘Side Hustle?’ Before accepting clients, I worked very hard to ensure my service is a quality product that only requires a good sales pitch to sell.

Starting my own virtual bookkeeping business was not a small goal and has required much dedication and hard work to open a bookkeeping business, polar opposite from being ‘A Side Hustle”.

This took approximately 3 years of hard work to open ‘Stingray’s Bookkeeping LLC’.
